Modeliranje plazmene podrške sagorevanju u kotlovima loženim ugljenim prahom

Tretman niskokaloričnih ugljeva termalnom plazmom omogućava njihovo efikasnije i ekološki prihvatljivije sagorevanje. Ovaj rad predstavlja rezultate numeričkog modeliranja plazmenog tretmana sprašenog uglja za pripalu i sagorevanje u ložištu kotla. Dva kinetička matematička modela su korišćena u izučavanju procesa plazmene aktivacije mešavine vazduha i sprašenog uglja, njegove pripale i sagorevanja. Jednodimenzionalni numerički kod za simulaciju kinetike sagorevanja, PLASMA-COAL, računa koncentracije sastojaka, temperaturu i brzinsko polje u mešavini vazduha i sprašenog uglja kod gorioničkih paketa sa instaliranim plazmatronima. To daje početne podatke za 3-D modeliranje ložišta kotla numeričkim kodom FLOREAN. Kompletna slika procesa plazmenog tretmana mešavine vazduha i sprašenog uglja u ložištima kotlova loženih ugljenim prahom je dobijena, i jasno demonstrirane prednosti upotrebe plazmene tehnologije u ovim postrojenjima.
