Optimization of Selecting Micro Location for Thermal Power Plant Facility Using Multi Criteria Classification – Theoretical Basis

  • Within this paper, the problem regarding definition of optimal macro and micro location for thermal power plant facility (TPP) from the aspect of searching for the most appropriate micro location on the available area has been investigated. Evaluation of convenience of some certain micro location in relation to others, and more over the classifying observed micro locations, is to be performed on basis of comparison influences of several mutually independent quantities, or to say demands, which of ten can not be evaluated by the same criteria and which accomplishment is usually matter of compromise. For chosen qualitative and quantitative characteristics, relative weighted coefficients are being determined by combining AHP (analytical hierarchical process), Saaty’s scale, and primary defined values.
