Optimization of energy consumption of board and paper machine

  • The aim of the paper is to present, that the new concept of electrical drive for paper and board machine, contributes the reducing of energy consumption, in this character is tic facility for all paper and board machines. The pump drive of couch section of the machine is possible to find in paper and board machines of smaller capacity, as well as in machines of huge capacity, like the Board factory ”Umka”, in Umka, near Belgrade. The parallel review of considered results of conducted measurements, as well as conclusions of accomplished analysis based upon attained results, are be presented in the paper.
