Prediction of Kolubara coal quality for combustion in 'Nikola Tesla' thermal power plants

  • Stabile power plants supply with enough quantity of known and pretty much the same quality of coal is base for stabile and profitable production. Results of analysis which are made on samples from geological research drill-holes are used for estimating coal quality. Practical experience shows that there are great discord in expected and real coal qualities. This means that accuracy got on samples from drill-holes are extremely unreliable. In order to make use ful available data, statistic elaboration of all drill-holes sample's parameters and all analysis which mine and power plants laboratories did, in ten years period. Function relations between quantity of ash, moisture, and heating value were done on base of that results. It is developed model for prediction of coal quality.
