Estimation of reliability of thermo-energy plants on macro-level

  • By implementation of mathematical application of theory of reliability, based on statistics and theory of possibility, after identification of reliability for the most critical components in thermo-energy plant, calculation of reliability is performed on given interval of the entire plant. Following this procedure, parallel with analyses executed in the first proximity, one more calculation is performed in the second proximity, which uses results obtained by implementation of activities for all components that cause minimum of 80% of unexpected intermissions, along side which are prepared and analyzed all relevant data regarding current condition of industrial competitiveness of the plant. In order to define the way to raise the level of competitiveness, it is necessary to compare procedures with the best practices (benchmarking), defining optimal level of industrial competitiveness in technical, economical-business sense, and based on previous comparison that we aim for, creation of program for raising the level of industrial competitiveness, and control for relevant parameters during process of further exploitation. Considering that the activities on elaboration of the program and implementation of activities for raising industrial competitiveness of energy generating and processing plants, are multi-disciplinary and based only partly on routine skills, and mainly on expert and experimental, there is number of risk sources from unsatisfactory level of realized benefits after implementation of the program in the plant. There is, in respect to this, specification and evaluation given for possible sources of risk in thermo-energy plant, which functions as a part of higher hierarchy energy-generating system.
